The designated spawn point for each camp is a predetermined fixed position on the map. I've had a look through the code, because this has made me interested in how they actually spawn, it turns out that I wasn't 100% correct with the completely random and each camp is just as likely to spawn statements I made earlier:įirstly, the amount of bandits in an area is independent of spawning a camp, they only determine whether more of that type of bandit will spawn or not.Įvery 38 36 game hours, the game actually runs through a list of bandit types (in this order: forest, taiga, steppe, sea, mountain and desert), and tries to spawn a camp for each one, as long as there are less than 2 bandit camps of any kind on the map already. Land: I acquired 2 cities (both around the desert bandit lair), both of which bring in substantially more income when there are no bandits.

My walk around army is a little over 200 and I can field half of them in battle. Tough luck there, but if they haven't, here's all the Red Dead Online gang hideout locations for you to find.1000+ Nord Huscarls and 500 Rhodok sharpshooters and I travel with 80ish Huscarls 30-40 Rhodok Sharpshooters, 3 heroes with Best-in-slots, and the rest are assorted (Sword Sisters, Merc Cavalry, future Huscarl/Sharpshooters). It's also important to remember that if you show up and there's another player in the area, they've likely cleared the hideout already. The chance of one appearing at any of the set location is random, though you can try and force to to appear by riding in and out of the general area, or just leaving and coming back into the server.

That being said, it's important to recognise that while the locations below are where Red Dead Online gang hideouts can spawn, it doesn't mean that they will spawn.
